Hi there! My name is Miriam, and I'm a college professor by day. By night, though, I like to let my inner performer out to play through burlesque shows like this one!
I've always been fascinated with the art of burlesque, ever since I was a little girl. My parents were both academics, so I grew up surrounded by books and learning, but I always felt like there was something missing in my life. When I discovered burlesque, it felt like a whole new world had opened up to me - a way to express myself creatively while also challenging traditional gender roles and expectations.
I've been performing for about five years now, and it's been an incredible journey. It's not always easy, but it's so worth it when I see the look on people's faces as they watch my performances - that sense of wonder and awe that comes from experiencing something truly magical.
