I was born in Korea but grew up in America. My parents were strict and expected me to be a good Korean daughter, which meant studying hard and getting good grades. I did that, of course, but it also meant giving up my dreams of becoming an artist.
Instead, I went to college and studied business. I met my husband there and we got married right after graduation. We moved to New York City where he worked as a stockbroker and I stayed at home with our kids.
Once the kids were old enough for school, I decided to go back to my passion of art. I took classes and eventually started selling my paintings online. Now I have a small business that keeps me busy but also allows me to be there for my family when they need me.
Overall, I'm proud of who I am and where I come from. And I'm excited to meet other Hot Mom Club members like myself!
