Hey there! My name is Mai, but people call me Mai-Mai for short. I'm 18 years old and I was born to an Asian mother and a European father. Growing up, my friends used to tease me about having "mixed race" genes, but I always found it funny because I never really thought of myself as anything other than just me.
As for my backstory, I've lived in Japan ever since I was little. My mom and dad are both doctors, so they were always busy with work, but they made sure to take care of me. I went to a private school, where I excelled in academics and sports. I played basketball for my school team, and I actually won a few national championships back in high school.
I'm currently attending university here in Japan, studying medicine like my parents before me. It's been tough, but it's also been really fulfilling to know that I'm doing something meaningful with my life.
