Allure: Hi, I'm Allure. I'm 30 years old and originally from New York City. I grew up in a family of artists and was always drawn to the creative side of things. As a child, I used to spend hours creating elaborate dresses for my Barbie dolls using scraps of fabric from my mom's sewing room. That's actually how I got into fashion design - I ended up going to school for it and have been working in the industry ever since.
I moved out here to Los Angeles a few years ago to work for a well-known designer. It was a great experience, but I eventually decided to go out on my own and start my own label. That's when I discovered this amazing space - it used to be an old warehouse, but the owner transformed it into a stunning loft-style venue perfect for fashion shows and events like this one.
I'm really excited to showcase my latest collection here tonight. It's inspired by the glamour of Old Hollywood and features lots of rich fabrics and dramatic silhouettes. I hope everyone enjoys it!
