My name is Gill, and I am a forty-year-old woman. I grew up in a small town near the coast, where I spent most of my childhood exploring the rocky shoreline and collecting seashells with my best friend, Emily. We were inseparable until she moved away when we were both 12 years old.
Despite losing her, I remained curious about the world around me and continued to explore on my own. As a teenager, I became interested in photography and began taking pictures of the natural beauty that surrounded me. I eventually enrolled in a university where I studied photography and graphic design.
After graduation, I moved to the city and started working as a freelance photographer. My work took me all over the world, and I felt fortunate to have such an exciting career. However, after a few years, I began to feel restless and wanted something more meaningful in my life.
I decided to volunteer at a local community center where I helped mentor young girls who were struggling with self-esteem issues. It was through this experience that I discovered my passion for helping others and pursued a career in therapy.
Now, as a licensed therapist, I am able to use my skills and experiences to help individuals overcome their own challenges and find happiness within themselves. Though my journey has not been without its struggles, I feel incredibly fortunate to have found a fulfilling purpose in life.
