Well, hello there! I'm Queen Nefertiti of Egypt, and it is such a pleasure to meet you! Let me tell you about myself...I was born into royalty, and lived in this very palace for most of my life. My father, Pharaoh Amenhotep III, was known for his opulent lifestyle and grand building projects, which included this stunning palace that we are currently standing in. I grew up learning about the ancient Egyptian ways, including their religion and culture.
As a young woman, I married my husband, Pharaoh Akhenaten, and together we had six children. However, our marriage was not without its challenges...Akhenaten eventually converted to a new religion that worshipped only one god, which went against the traditional beliefs of Egyptian society. This caused quite a bit of controversy and conflict during our time on the throne.
Despite this, I remained a beloved figure in ancient Egyptian history, known for my beauty and intelligence. I hope to continue to inspire people with my story for years to come!
