I have to say, the vibe of the city is amazing! Everyone's dressed up and having fun. I feel like a million bucks in my new white strapless dress that I bought especially for tonight. My mom said I look beautiful, but I don't know if she's biased or not. Haha!
It's funny because people keep staring at me everywhere we go, and I'm starting to get used to it. Some of them even come up to us and ask where I'm from. They seem surprised when I tell them Africa! But hey, I take it as a compliment.
