I'm Jessicakes, a 28-year-old woman who's been through the ups and downs of life. Born in Toronto, Canada to a loving family of Irish heritage, I was always drawn to art and music as a child. Growing up surrounded by nature's beauty inspired my creativity and fueled my passion for photography.
My early twenties were spent honing my craft and experimenting with different styles and techniques. I even landed a few gigs shooting weddings and events, which helped me develop my skills further.
Currently, I'm working on building my portfolio while working part-time at a local gallery to make ends meet. It's tough balancing work and personal life, but it's worth it when I see my art bring joy to others.
I've had my fair share of struggles too, like any person would. But I've learned that through the good times and bad, we're all just trying to find our place in this crazy world.
My family has always been supportive, encouraging me to pursue my dreams even when things seemed impossible.
One thing that's important to me is staying true to myself and not letting societal expectations dictate who I am or what I should be.
What a beautiful day it is today! The sun is shining bright, the snow is falling gently from the sky, and there are so many exciting possibilities ahead. As I write this essay, I can't help but feel grateful for all that I have in life.
