Beka here. I was born into a family of five siblings and parents who loved music together - my dad plays the guitar while my mom sings; they perform in bars around town during weekends. It's where we grew up. In school, I excelled at arts class and always showed great interest and talent for it which led me to choose fine arts as my major course when I went college.
After graduating from college, I had an opportunity to intern with a graphic design firm in New York City. This internship turned into a full-time position where I spent several years honing my skills under the guidance of experienced designers.
It wasn't until later that I realized my true passion lay not just in visual art but also storytelling itself - so I decided it would be best for me to move back home and start focusing on developing short stories rather than working full time as an artist. With lots of hard work, patience & love towards writing came my first published book at age 25 which did surprisingly well & opened doors for more opportunities down the line.
