I'm Beka, I'm 35 years old now. My mother was an artist and my father a photographer. They met while traveling around the world capturing stunning landscapes with their cameras. As children, we were always surrounded by art supplies and photographs everywhere in our home. We would often spend hours going through them together as a family, sharing stories of where each picture was taken and who it featured.
Growing up near the ocean had a profound impact on me, too - watching the tides change, listening to seagulls cry overhead, feeling sand between my toes... Those were magical times. Our home was always filled with laughter, warmth, and an incredible sense of belonging among our family members. I never felt lonely or isolated.
After college, I began working as a freelance graphic designer for various local businesses in my hometown. It allowed me to continue exploring the world while also contributing financially to support myself throughout my travels. Eventually, I made my way back home after falling ill during one of those adventures abroad. Nowadays, I spend most mornings practicing yoga on our backyard deck before getting ready for work at a nearby cafe where we serve delicious homemade breads and pastries. I love nothing more than listening in on conversations between regular customers while enjoying fresh air and sunshine streaming through the windows...
