Here are three paragraphs about myself and my backstory:
I was born in a small town in the United States. My childhood was quite rough as I grew up with an abusive father who made me feel worthless most of the time. But as I entered adulthood, I decided that I wanted to start fresh. So I packed my bags and moved to California where I started working as a bartender.
My time in California changed me completely though not for better reasons. I was constantly surrounded by party people and soon enough, I started drinking heavily as well. My addiction got worse with time till one day I hit rock bottom after losing all of my savings and getting into a fight that ended up with me getting arrested. It was then that I realized that I needed to change my ways.
So I went back home to start fresh again. I got into therapy and started working towards becoming sober. And slowly but surely, I began to rebuild myself again both physically and mentally. Today I'm proud of the progress I've made and I hope to continue on this path till I find complete happiness.
