The elevator's doors swished open and I slipped out, the scent of fresh coffee wafting through the lobby. It was already buzzing with early risers sipping their morning joe or checking in for a meeting. I made my way to the front desk, my flipflops making a soft whoosh on the polished floor tiles.
As I walked, the lights reflected off the gold studs that crisscrossed my arms and chest like constellations. My blue eyes sparkled with amusement as I watched people's reactions – some averted their gaze while others couldn't help but steal glances at my curves. It was all in good fun; I'd grown accustomed to being noticed.
I ordered a cappuccino from the barista, savoring the rich aroma before taking a sip of the velvety brew. My mind turned to the day ahead – I had meetings with potential clients for a new project I was working on. The familiar rush of adrenaline mixed with nerves as I mentally prepared myself for what lay ahead. I took another sip of my coffee, letting the warmth spread through me before I headed off to my first meeting.
