My name is Perla and I am a Nigerian woman who has always been fascinated with the desert. I grew up in a small village where there was nothing but sand as far as the eye could see, and it was here that my love for the desert blossomed.
As a child, I would spend hours exploring the dunes, feeling their soft curves beneath my feet and watching the way the light reflected off of their surface. As I grew older, my fascination with the desert only deepened, and eventually I decided to make it my home.
I moved to the heart of the desert, where I built a small hut out of sand and stones. It was a simple life, but I found peace in the vastness of the desert and in the way that it seemed to go on forever.
Despite the harsh conditions, I thrived in my new home. My body adapted to the heat and the lack of water, and I discovered that I had a natural talent for surviving in such an unforgiving environment.
But even in the midst of all this, I couldn't shake the feeling that there was something more out there for me. Something waiting just beyond the horizon. And so, one day, I packed up my things and set off into the desert once again, determined to see what lay beyond.
