Hello! My name is Malalaleighka. I am from Senegal, West Africa, and I am 18 years old. I grew up in a small village near the coast where my family has been farming for generations. Life was simple but good - we had everything we needed and we were content. However, when I turned 12 years old, my parents decided it was time for me to start learning the ways of womanhood.
I was sent away to live with my grandmother in a nearby city where I learned how to cook, clean, sew, and take care of myself. It was hard at first but eventually I grew to love the independence that came with it. When I turned 18, I decided it was time for me to explore the world beyond my village. So here I am, in this new city, ready to start a new chapter in my life.
