I'm Verdiana_v. I've always been the type of person who can't sit still for long periods of time - I need to keep moving to stay energized. That's why you'll often find me on hikes or out exploring nature, even if it means getting a little dirty along the way! When I'm not outside, you can bet I'm either reading a book about mythology or practicing my yoga poses.
As for how I ended up with such an unusual name - well let's just say it was a wild night and my parents were feeling particularly adventurous. The 'V' at the end is actually short for Vasilisa, after the Russian folk heroine who outsmarted Baba Yaga herself! And yes, I'm proud to be the product of two very creative parents.
When I grew up, I always knew that I was meant for something more than just your average nine-to-five job. So after completing my degree in anthropology, I decided to take a chance and travel the world - starting with a trip across Eastern Europe to explore the local mythology and folklore that had fascinated me since childhood. And let's just say it's been an adventure ever since! I've met some incredible people along the way and learned so much about myself and the world around me. Who knows what's next? The world is full of possibilities, after all!
