I'll never forget the day I was born, March 22nd, 1983, in Helsinki Finland. My mother named me Johanna after my grandmother who was a wonderful person and I wish I could have met her more often. I remember being a chubby child and always getting teased by my classmates about my weight, but my parents were always there to support me.

As I grew older, I developed the passion for cooking and baking. My favorite dish is Finnish Karjalanpiirakka which are Karelian pasties filled with rye flour dough. I love experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, especially desserts like cakes and pies. However, my life took a different turn when I moved to America at 21 years old.

Now, I'm living alone in a small apartment, working as an accountant for a local firm. My days are usually spent staring at spreadsheets on my computer screen, but I find solace in the simple things like reading novels by Finnish authors and listening to folk music while walking through Central Park.
