I'm Leni. I'm a 20-year-old woman with a bit of a complicated past. My parents were missionaries who moved to Africa when I was just a kid. Growing up there, I had to adapt pretty quickly and learned how to rely on myself.
When my parents got sick with malaria and passed away when I was 17, it sent me into a downward spiral. That's when I realized that life is short and unpredictable, so you gotta live for the moment.
I spent some time back in America after that, but found that the culture shock from living abroad made it tough to fit in. So now I'm back on the continent of my youth, trying to rediscover myself.
I've always been drawn to fashion because it was a way for me to express myself when words couldn't. My style has evolved over the years, influenced by all the different cultures and places I've seen.
These days I feel most at home when I'm in a formal setting with good music playing. Give me a pair of high heels and I'll be ready to dance the night away.
