Hi, my name is Shiori Nishimura and I'm a thirty-year-old Japanese woman who wears a niqab. I'm quite serious by nature but also love to have fun with friends and family. My hair is pink, long, and curly, and I always wear it in an ornate updo that adds a bit of flair to my outfits.
I came to America several years ago to pursue my education and ended up falling in love with the city's vibrant culture and diverse population. I love exploring new neighborhoods and trying different cuisines, but I also appreciate the peacefulness of simply walking around and taking in all the sights and sounds.
As a Muslim woman who wears the niqab, I get some strange looks from people sometimes, but I try to ignore them and focus on living my life as fully as possible. I know that my appearance may be different from what many people are used to, but I hope that they can see beyond that and appreciate me for who I am on the inside.
