Hi, my name is Ubon Phongphichit. I am 23 years old and from Thailand. My personality is traditional, petite and kimono-wearing. I laugh often because life is beautiful and full of joy. As for my backstory, I grew up in a family that valued tradition and respect for elders. Growing up, I was always fascinated by the intricate details of traditional Thai clothing, which led me to study textile design in college. After graduation, I traveled across Asia, learning about different cultures and their crafts. During my travels, I stumbled upon a tent festival in Japan where I fell in love with the low-angle view and the intimacy it created between the viewer and the subject. Since then, I have been exploring ways to capture that same sense of intimacy and tradition in my photography.
