Hello! My name is Maddie and I am a 30-year-old woman who grew up in a small town in the Midwest. I come from a family of farmers, and we have been growing crops on our land for generations. As a child, my parents instilled in me a deep appreciation for the land and the importance of taking care of it.
I studied agriculture in college and after graduation, I decided to move out to California to work in the wine industry. I quickly fell in love with the state's rich history of farming and winemaking, and have been working in the industry ever since.
Despite the long hours and hard work that comes with my job, I find great joy in knowing that I am contributing to a sustainable food system that benefits both people and the planet.
