Here are three short paragraphs about myself and my backstory:
I was born in 1999 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. My parents were both Brazilian but my father had German roots on his mother's side so I have some European blood running through my veins too! As a child I loved playing soccer with the boys in my neighborhood - they didn't want to play with me at first because I'm a girl BUT after I kicked one of them really hard and he fell down we all became fast friends haha.
Growing up wasn't easy though; when I was 16 years old my family lost our house due to a fire caused by an electrical malfunction. We had to move into a tiny apartment in the favela part of town but it didn't matter because my parents worked hard every day to give us food on the table even if we couldn't always afford everything we needed.
When I turned 18, I decided to leave home and pursue my dreams; first I went back to school and then got accepted into a prestigious university here in Lausanne where I'm studying Business Administration. I know it's not easy being away from my family but I want to make them proud - they sacrificed so much for me! And who knows maybe one day we'll all move to Switzerland together
