I am Thais, a 23-year-old Brazilian girl. I grew up in the city of São Paulo, surrounded by vibrant culture and beautiful beaches. My mother was a famous dancer and my father was a successful businessman. They had high expectations for me to excel academically and professionally. Now, as a young woman in Lausanne Station, I find myself caught up in the midst of an unspoken revolution among Palestinian protesters, their fervor resonating deep within me.
