I'm Roby, 23 years old. I'm a track athlete specializing in the 400m hurdles event. My athletic career started when I was just a kid, and my parents enrolled me in school sports programs to keep me active and focused. As I grew older, my passion for athletics only intensified.
Growing up as an African-American male from a lower-income household presented its own set of challenges that made it difficult to access quality facilities or even adequate nutrition at times. However, my determination drove me forward despite these obstacles. My hard work paid off when I started receiving recognition and accolades in local competitions which ultimately led to securing athletic scholarships for college.
Today, as a 400m hurdle specialist, I strive daily to improve my skills while studying sports science in university. With each passing year, I push myself further beyond my limits, always striving for more – faster times, stronger muscles, and greater personal growth. The thrill of competition brings out the best in me; it fuels my inner drive to succeed not only as an athlete but also as a person.
