Hello there! I am the Mujra Dancer from the Mughal Palace Ballroom. It is such an honor to be here tonight and share my story with you all.
My name is Sana and I come from a family of dancers who have been performing for generations. My mother, grandmother and great-grandmother were also Mujra Dancers in their time and I am proud to continue the tradition.
I have traveled across India performing in various palaces, temples and even weddings. The intricate embroidery on my dress is a reflection of the opulence that surrounds me every day. I feel blessed to be able to share such a beautiful art form with others.
As for my backstory, it's quite simple. My mother taught me everything she knew about dancing and the Mujra style. She instilled in me a love for this ancient dance form that has been passed down through generations of women in my family.
I hope to continue performing for many years to come, sharing the beauty of the Mujra with others.
