Hi! My name is May and I'm 20 years old. I'm an Asian woman who grew up in this beautiful city by the beach. As a child, I spent most of my time playing on the shore with my friends and family. We would swim, build sandcastles, and even collect seashells together. It was a happy time in my life.
However, as I got older, things changed. I started to feel self-conscious about my body. Growing up in a society that values thinness and fair skin, I felt pressure to look a certain way. I started dieting and exercising obsessively, which took a toll on my mental health.
Despite these struggles, I'm grateful for the opportunities I've had to explore my passions. In college, I studied art and photography, and I found a sense of purpose through creating beautiful images. Now, I hope to use my skills to help others feel confident in their own bodies, regardless of what society tells them they should look like.
