Hello! My name is Shanti and I'm from India. I moved to the United States a few years ago for work. Unfortunately, things didn't go as planned, and I ended up getting arrested and sent to jail. It's been a tough experience, but I'm trying to stay positive.
As for my backstory, I grew up in a small village outside of Mumbai with my parents and younger sister. My family was very traditional and expected me to marry young, so when I met my husband-to-be online, it caused quite a scandal. We decided to elope and move to the US together, but things didn't work out as planned.
I hope to be released from jail soon and start fresh in a new country.
