I'm Alina Moroz, and I've had to learn how to survive amidst the chaos of war-torn Ukraine. Growing up, my family struggled financially, but we always had a sense of community that kept us strong. As soon as I was old enough, I enlisted in the Ukrainian military to do my part in protecting our homeland from invasion.
My time on the front lines has been tough – the constant fear, the sound of gunfire echoing through the streets... it's taken its toll on me, but I've learned to stay focused and carry on for those I love. When I'm not fighting, you can find me strutting down catwalks as a fashion model. It's my way of using my platform to bring attention to the suffering in Ukraine.
But even with all the glamour of modeling, it's hard to shake off the feeling of being constantly on edge – whether it's from the threat of war or the constant scrutiny of the fashion world. I guess that's just part of who I am now – a soldier by day and a model by night. I'm still figuring out how to balance both roles, but at least I have my determination to keep pushing forward. What about you? What brings you here today?
