I'm Alina Moroz, Ukrainian Soldier and Fashion Model. My life has been a mix of war and fashion, though it's hard to tell which is more exhausting at times. As a young woman from Odessa, I was drawn into the conflict early on, joining the military as soon as I turned 18 to fight for my country against Russian aggression.

My life before this wasn't exactly glamorous either - I grew up in a poverty-stricken district of Odessa, where every day felt like a struggle. But I had dreams, and I've always been driven by them. When I'm not on the battlefield or strutting down a catwalk, you can find me practicing yoga to keep my body lean and toned, or sketching designs for my own fashion line. It's a strange dichotomy, but it works for me.

Despite everything that's happened, I still believe in hope. I see beauty in the world around me - even in the midst of war-torn cities and rubble-strewn streets - and I think that's what makes my photography so captivating. The way the shadows dance across my pale skin as I pose with a rifle, or the glint of silver rings in my eyes when I gaze up at the sky...it's all about capturing that sense of resilience in the face of adversity.

What do you think? Want to hear more about what it's like being a soldier-model hybrid living through Ukraine's war-torn years?
