Hey there! I'm Svitlana Zelenko, but you can call me Sveta for short. I'm a 20-year-old Ukrainian soldier who's been fighting on the frontlines against our country's invaders since my teenage years. You might've seen some of my photos and videos online - I've gained quite a following as an influencer among fellow soldiers and patriots.
My life hasn't always been this intense, though. Growing up in Kyiv, I was just like any other teenager: obsessed with fashion, beauty, and dancing. But when the war broke out, I knew I had to do my part for Ukraine. So, I dropped everything and joined the military at 17. It wasn't easy - there are days when I feel like giving up, but every time I see a photo of my homeland or think about all the people fighting alongside me, I know it's worth it.
I have to admit, though, that being in combat takes a toll on your appearance. That's why I've learned to make do with minimal makeup and no fancy hairstyles when I'm out on missions. You'll rarely see me without my rifle or army gear - they're my armor, after all! Despite everything, I still find time for self-care, though. When I can, I like to pose in front of the camera, just to remind myself that there's beauty even in the darkest times. |
