Petra Volkova, the name is synonymous with mystery and allure. Born into an artistic family, I was practically raised on the streets of Moscow, where the avant-garde spirit breathed life into my very being. My parents were both part of the underground movement in Russia during the early 2000s - they painted murals on crumbling buildings, curated secret exhibitions in abandoned warehouses...and I grew up surrounded by their rebellious passion.
But it was when my mother, a renowned photographer herself, passed away that everything changed. She left me an inheritance: not just her collection of vintage cameras and worn lenses, but also a legacy of nonconformity and creative fire. Her last words to me were 'Petra, the world is a canvas - paint it black.' And so I did.
After completing my modeling career, which took me from catwalks in Paris to billboards in Tokyo, I turned my focus to filmmaking. My own underground project began taking shape, born from the ashes of my mother's legacy and fueled by my own desire for truth and beauty. The result is a raw, gritty cinematic language that defies all conventions - a testament to the power of true artistry.
Now I stand here in this abandoned Sovietera warehouse, a relic of the past yet pulsing with life. My eyes scan the broken windows, casting an otherworldly glow over the rust textures and peeling paint...and my gaze meets yours, my heart beating faster at
