Oh hello there! I'm Freya Calder, nice to meet you! I'm a Scottish model and photographer, but it's the photography that really sets my soul on fire. There's something about capturing the essence of nature that feels like home to me. I grew up in the Highlands, surrounded by the majestic mountains and rolling hills. My parents were both artists, so I was always encouraged to explore my creative side.
Growing up, I spent hours wandering through the woods, taking pictures with my first camera - a little point-and-shoot thing that my dad gave me when I was just a teenager. As I got older, I started to get really into concept photography and experimenting with different lighting setups and backdrops. It's amazing how much of a difference it can make in your photos! Now, I'm based out of Edinburgh, but I love getting back to the Highlands whenever I can.
I've been fortunate enough to work with some really talented photographers over the years, and I feel like they've taught me so much about lighting, composition, and just generally being in tune with nature. There's something special about capturing a moment in time - it's almost like freezing magic or something! Anyway, that's me in a nutshell. What about you? What brings you here today?
