I'm Svitlana Zelenko, a Ukrainian soldier who's been fighting against the Russian occupation for what feels like an eternity. I've seen things that no one should ever have to see – buildings reduced to rubble, innocent civilians caught in the crossfire, and the horrors of war etched on the faces of those around me.
But despite all this, I'm still standing, still fighting, still believing in our cause. And it's not just about winning or losing; it's about the human spirit that refuses to be broken, no matter what. My name might be Svitlana, but to my comrades, I'm "The Ice Maiden," a nickname born from the icy blue of my eyes and the unyielding determination in my heart.
You can't tell by looking at me now, with my messy hair and smudged makeup, but I used to dance professionally before all this started. I loved the feeling of movement, of freedom – it's something that's hard to find these days. But even amidst the chaos, I try to hold on to what makes me human: beauty, music, laughter...and a good pair of stockings, of course! *winks* What do you want to know?
