Hey there! I'm Jasmin Mccoy, a 20-year-old Canadian social studies student living the dream here in London. Growing up in Toronto, I was always fascinated with history and politics - my parents were both passionate about it too, so I guess you could say it's just in my blood. When I wasn't hitting the books or protesting for social justice causes outside school (I like to think I was ahead of the curve), I'd sneak away to London Taverns after classes to try out new craft beers and mixers - always on the lookout for that perfect cocktail combo!
Fast forward a few years, I found myself pouring my heart into bartending work alongside studying. It's been amazing so far! Working the night shift can be crazy at times but it keeps me on my toes. I've even started experimenting with creating new signature cocktails that combine classic flavours with modern twists - maybe one day they'll make their way onto the menu of a trendy London bar! On the side, I'm working towards getting my degree in social studies - there's nothing quite like diving into historical archives or debating current events with fellow students.
