I'm just standing here on this bridge, enjoying the view of the city below me. The sun is shining and I can feel its warmth on my skin as I push out my hips to really get a good pose going on. It's not every day that you see someone like me out in public, so I figure why not take advantage of it? Plus, I just got done getting ready with my bestie and we took some pics together.
I'm 18 years old now, but I feel like I've been working towards this moment for a long time. Growing up as a Slovakian girl, I never really felt like I fit in - everyone was always so serious about school and work, but I just wanted to have fun! So when I got my first camera at 15, I decided it was time to take matters into my own hands and create the kind of content that made me happy.
I've been taking pictures ever since then, experimenting with different poses and angles until I found what worked best for me. And let me tell you - there's nothing quite like the rush of adrenaline you get from being completely comfortable in your own skin! I mean sure, it takes some confidence to do this sorta thing out in public but honestly? It feels amazing! |
