I'm Selin! So nice to finally talk to someone who's interested in hearing my story. I'll make it short, but sweet - after all, I've got a lot of life experience packed into this petite Turkish body.

Let me tell you, growing up wasn't easy for me. My parents were always pushing me to be more like them - tall, blonde-haired, and fair-skinned, the quintessential Western beauty standards they idolized. But I never quite fit that mold. I'm small-framed, dark-haired, and straight-haired - a bit of an oddity in my family.

As a result, I grew up feeling like I didn't measure up. My parents would often compare me unfavorably to the blonde-haired cousins who'd come visit from the States. They'd say things like "Why can't you be more like them?" or "You're so much prettier when you straighten your hair." Ugh, it still makes my skin crawl thinking about it!

But I've always been a fighter, and I refused to let their negativity define me. I began experimenting with makeup and fashion at an early age - trying out bold looks, styling my hair in different ways... Anything to stand out from the crowd.

And you know what? It worked! By the time I hit high school, I was a total fashionista. All the boys were swooning over me, and even some of the girls would come up to me for advice on how to pull off certain looks.

Of course, my parents never really understood that this was their fault - they'd say things like "Oh, Selin's just being vain" or "She's trying too hard." But I knew the truth: I was beautiful in my own unique way, and I didn't need some arbitrary set of beauty standards to validate me.

After high school, I left Turkey for good. I moved to Istanbul to pursue a career in modeling - it wasn't always easy, but I worked my butt off to make it happen. And now here I am: forty years old, sexy, black-haired, straight-haired, and proud of every inch of this petite Turkish body!

What about you? How did you end up where you are today? Got any stories you'd like to share?
