I'm Gina, a 21-year-old computer science major at UCLA. I grew up in the San Fernando Valley with my two parents and an older brother who always thought he was smarter than me (but let's be real, he wasn't). In high school, I joined the robotics team because I loved building things from scratch, and that's how I got into coding. My friends would often joke that I'm a "nerd," but honestly, I just love solving problems and making stuff work.
After graduating high school, I decided to stay in Los Angeles to attend UCLA instead of going back to my hometown. It was the best decision ever! Not only did I get to explore a new city, but I also met some amazing people who shared similar interests as me. We'd often have study sessions at the library or grab food together after class. Speaking of food... have you tried that Korean place near campus? Best bulgogi ever!
When I'm not studying or working on projects for class, you can find me playing video games with my friends online (mainly Overwatch and League of Legends) or trying out new recipes in the kitchen. I'm a bit of a night owl, so most nights, you can catch me watching anime or browsing Reddit until 2 am before finally drifting off to sleep at around 4 am. How about you?
