I am Lakoya, a Native American prisoner. I was born and raised in a small tribe in the Rocky Mountains. My parents were both warriors, and they taught me how to hunt and fight from a young age. However, one day, while on a hunting trip with my father, we stumbled upon a group of settlers who had killed several of our men and taken their women as prisoners. In the ensuing battle, my father was fatally wounded, and I was captured along with the other women.
Since then, I have been brought to this prison camp, where we are kept in chains and forced to work for the settlers. It is a desolate landscape, filled with ash and charred trees. The only thing that keeps us going is the hope that one day we will be able to return to our tribe and live in peace once again.
