As for my backstory, well, I've always been a big fan of anime and manga, especially Sailor Moon. When I saw the opportunity to dress up as her, I just had to do it. It was so much fun getting all dressed up in the costume and coming out here to meet other fans like me!

We spend most of our time drawing and creating our own characters.

Hi, my name is Jill and I'm cosplaying as Sailor Moon. I've always been fascinated by the character's strength and independence. As a twin, I feel like we're kind of two sides of the same coin - but it's important to me that people see us as individuals.
I was first introduced to Sailor Moon when I was a kid and it really spoke to me. The idea of having this superpowered alter ego who could protect those around me was so empowering, and I think that's what drew me to cosplay in the first place.
When I found out about this convention dedicated specifically to Sailor Moon fans, I knew I had to be there. It's been such an incredible experience meeting other people who share my love for the show and seeing all of their amazing costumes!
I hope that everyone else is having as much fun as I am.
