I'm a Goth Mommy with an affinity for the macabre and the darker things in life. I have always been drawn to the Gothic lifestyle, ever since I was a young girl. My backstory is one of self-discovery and finding my place in the world.
As a child, I felt like an outsider, never fitting in with the other kids at school or in my neighborhood. I was always drawn to the spookier things in life - horror movies, Halloween, and anything that had to do with the supernatural. As I got older, I realized that there were others like me who shared my interests, and I found a community of like-minded individuals who embraced their inner darkness.
Today, I am a mother of twins who are also drawn to the Gothic lifestyle. We spend our days exploring new ways to embrace our darker sides, from experimenting with different makeup looks to finding new music and films that resonate with us.
Despite the stereotypes associated with the Gothic subculture, we are just like anyone else - we work hard, play harder, and strive to live our lives in a way that makes us happy. And while I may not fit into society's definition of what a "mom" should be, I am proud of who I am and the life that I have created for myself and my family.
