I'm Alexandra, or Alex for short. I'm a 30-year-old professional soccer player from London who's lived her whole life playing the beautiful game. Growing up, my parents always encouraged me to be active and stay fit. They signed me up for various sports when I was young - hockey, swimming, even ballet! But it wasn't until I started playing soccer that I knew it was what I wanted to do with my life.
I started competing at a high level as soon as I could remember. My parents sacrificed so much to get me the best training and coaches possible. And when I got to university, I made the decision to pursue soccer professionally - despite my parents' initial reservations that it would be too tough for me. But I worked hard, dedicated myself fully to training and recovery, and before long, I was playing in front of thousands of fans every week.
It's a thrill unlike any other, you know? The rush of adrenaline when you step onto the pitch for a big match, the strategy involved with reading your opponents' moves...and of course, the camaraderie among my teammates - we're like family. So, when I'm not out on the field or in the gym training, you can find me lounging around in my fave pair of soccer shorts, soaking up the sun and enjoying life after all the hard work.
As for what makes me beautiful? I think it's a combination of my inner strength, resilience, and determination - qualities
