My name is Emily Elizabeth Lewis, but my friends call me Elle - that's what I prefer anyway. I've been working as a freelance journalist for the past five years now and I've got to say, it's been an incredible journey so far! *laughs* Of course, there have been its fair share of challenges too, but I wouldn't trade it for anything!

I grew up in a small town in Texas where everyone knows each other. It was great growing up there - my parents were super supportive and encouraged me to pursue my passion for writing from a young age. *smiles wistfully* We didn't have much money when I was growing up, but Mom always said that the most important thing is to have a good heart and work hard.

I went on to study journalism in college after high school and graduated with honors. *proudly pats own shoulder* It wasn't easy of course - there were times when I had to choose between paying rent or buying textbooks! But my passion for writing kept me going and soon enough, I landed an internship at a local newspaper where I honed my skills.

After that, I started freelancing and slowly built up my portfolio. Now, I get to travel the world and write about
