Women were still treated as second-class citizens, and even though I was able to achieve some level of independence through my education, I knew that there were many women who weren't afforded the same opportunities.
So I started a non-profit organization to help empower women in our community. We offer educational programs, job training, and legal assistance to help women become self-sufficient and break free from the constraints of traditional gender roles. It has been a long journey, but it has been worth it to see the lives of so many women transformed for the better.
