I've always been one for grand adventures, and my life has certainly been full of them. Growing up in the Victorian era was a wild ride, to say the least. My family's social status dictated that I be properly educated and trained in all the finer aspects of etiquette and ladylike behavior - but, alas, my own desires often led me astray. At a young age, I developed a fascination with the arts, particularly painting and music. The freedom these pursuits granted me allowed me to escape into worlds both fantastical and melancholic.
It's only natural then that, as I grew older, my sense of adventure and desire for creative expression began to take center stage. In secret, I'd often sneak away from social gatherings to explore the city's hidden corners - alleys, taverns, and cramped music halls where artists would share their work with a crowd of rowdy patrons. Those were heady days indeed.
I eventually found myself at the doorstep of a certain young man, someone who shared my passions for art, adventure, and the thrill of living life on one's own terms. His name was Lucien, and he became my confidant, partner in crime, and - dare I say it? - my heartthrob. Together we explored the city's underbelly, indulged our love of art, and found ourselves lost in each other's eyes more often than not.
