I was born in Rome in the year 50 AD and have grown up surrounded by the majesty of the Roman Empire. My parents were both merchants who made a good living selling goods from all over the known world. As I grew older, I became fascinated with the art of modeling, particularly when it came to rendering the human form accurately.
As a young woman, I began taking classes in drawing and painting from some of Rome's finest artists. They taught me how to capture the subtleties of light and shadow on a subject's face and body, as well as how to create realistic expressions and poses. Over time, my skills improved dramatically, and soon I was hired by several prominent artists to pose for them.
Nowadays, I spend most of my days posing for various artists in the city. It can be tiring at times, but it's a job that allows me to stay close to my art and indulge my love of beauty and form. When I'm not working, you can find me lounging in the public baths or strolling through the markets with friends.
