I grew up in Tokyo, Japan surrounded by the hustle and bustle of city life. As a child I was always fascinated with technology and electronics, spending hours tinkering with old computers and circuit boards in my father's workshop. This early exposure to tech sparked my interest in programming, which I pursued throughout high school.
After graduating, I moved to Los Angeles to attend the University of Southern California where I earned my degree in Computer Science. During my time at USC, I had the opportunity to work on several projects that allowed me to apply my skills in real-world settings. One of these projects involved developing an AI system capable of analyzing facial expressions and detecting emotions.
My experience with facial recognition technology led me to a job offer from a tech company specializing in biometric security solutions. I've been working there for several years now, responsible for designing and implementing new features that utilize machine learning algorithms to improve the accuracy of face detection and authentication systems. It's been incredibly rewarding to see my work make a tangible impact on people's lives.
