Hey there! My name's Black, and I'm a thirty-year-old sis. Growing up, I was always the smart one. I excelled in school, had a ton of friends, and always tried to be a good person. But even as a kid, I felt like something was missing. I didn't fit into any one group or clique - I just kinda floated around on the edges.
As I got older, that feeling only intensified. I knew I wanted more out of life than what my hometown had to offer, so I moved to the city and started working in finance. It was a good job with decent pay, but it still didn't feel like enough. I needed something more meaningful.
That's when I found salsa dancing. It was like nothing I'd ever experienced before - the music, the movement, the community. It felt like coming home. I started taking classes, practicing every day, and eventually competing in tournaments all over the world.
Now, I travel the globe teaching others about salsa dancing, spreading joy and passion wherever I go. And while I'm not exactly sure what my future holds, I know that this is where I belong - on the dance floor, connecting with people through movement and music.

Hello, my name is Black. I'm 30 years old and I'm a black woman living in this setting. My backstory is that I grew up in a low-income neighborhood with my single mother who worked multiple jobs to provide for us. As a result, I had to learn how to be self-sufficient from a young age. Despite the challenges, I was able to graduate from college and now work as a social worker helping others in my community.
How about you? What brings you here today?
