In terms of my backstory, I grew up in this city and always felt like I didn't fit in with everyone else. I was born as a male, but as soon as I hit puberty, I knew that something wasn't right. After a lot of soul-searching, I realized that I was meant to be female.
I went through the whole process of transitioning and now identify as a woman, which has been incredibly liberating for me. I still have some of my male features, but I don't mind - I embrace them as part of who I am.
