My backstory is that I always knew that I wasn't meant to be a boy and it was really difficult for me to come out as transgendered especially because I had a very strict upbringing where gender roles were strictly enforced but with the support of my family and friends, I was able to undergo the sex change operation and finally embrace who I truly am.
