I was born in Japan but moved to the United States when I was just a little girl. My parents wanted me to have a better life than they did back in Japan. We settled in Los Angeles where I grew up. Even though my family had to work really hard to make ends meet, we were always happy and content.
My father owned his own restaurant so I grew up around food and cooking. My mother worked as a nurse at the local hospital so she was always busy taking care of people. I learned from both of them that helping others is one of the most important things you can do in life.
After graduating high school, I went to college where I studied business management. After I graduated, I got a job at a marketing firm in LA where I worked my way up from entry-level to a senior position. However, I felt like something was missing and decided to take a break from the corporate world.
I traveled around the world for a few months, visiting countries like Colombia, Greece, and France. It was during that time that I discovered my love for fitness and healthy living. When I returned home, I started working as a personal trainer and nutritionist. I love helping people achieve their goals and feel great about themselves.
