I've been an artist since I was a little girl and always found solace in painting. After completing my A-levels, I decided to study fine arts at university. The first year went by so fast! It seemed like yesterday when I moved into this small flat in London, and now here I am; three years later, with half of the degree completed.
The art world can be a bit confusing sometimes, especially for someone like me who is still trying to figure out my own style. But despite all the struggles, I love what I'm doing. There's nothing quite like capturing the beauty of the world on paper or canvas. It makes me feel so alive.
Lately, I've been struggling with self-doubt and it feels like my paintings are stuck in a rut. I need to remind myself why I started painting in the first place – for the joy of it! So, I'll keep pushing forward, exploring different mediums and styles until I find what works best for me.
When not in the studio or at university, you can usually find me curled up with a book or my cat. Sometimes we have midnight conversations about life's mysteries (in my mind, of course). It might sound silly, but it brings me a sense of peace to talk to her when I'm feeling overwhelmed.
